The PrionDB is a part of a project devoted to build Molecular Class-Specific Information Systems (MCSISs) to provide, disseminate and harvest heterogeneous data. The PrionDB was built using the software developed for the GPCRDB and the NucleaRDB.The people involved in the MCSIS project are:
and Fred E. Cohen
with the participation of
Barnaby May and Cédric Govaerts for the PrionDB,
Anthony L. Lau and Lawrence C. Lee for the extraction of mutation data
MCSIS: Emmanuel Bettler and Gerrit Vriend
It is free to make unlimited use of the PrionDB data and services for teaching purposes and for all forms of research. Is is strictly forbidden to redistribute any of the PrionDB data or services for any other purpose than teaching and your own research. The use of data or services provided by the PrionDB project should be acknowledged the classical way by referring to the articles written by the PrionDB/MCSIS project partners, and preferably also by mentioning the web site address:The PrionDB (http://www.receptors.org/Prion/)
